What we noticed
The same sentence, over and over, buried in enquiries: we are only here for a while. Sometimes a short attachment, sometimes a defined posting, sometimes a stay that had quietly stopped being temporary. And almost always, a firm on the other end quoting as though the household was settling for good.
That is an expensive mismatch. Bringing a full home for a short stay costs twice. Shipping things that the furnished flat already had costs twice. Storing things in three different places across three postings costs indefinitely. None of it is anybody being careless — it is what happens when nobody asks the first question.
So we ask it first
How long are you here for? A short attachment, a full posting, indefinitely, or is this the departure? That single answer determines what comes, what goes into store, what gets shipped and what you should not bring at all — and it gets us to a useful quote much faster than a bedroom count does.
The three-way split
Every assignment move divides three ways: what comes with you, what goes into store, and what goes nowhere. We do that split with you at the survey, in writing, because the alternative is making a great many decisions with a crew standing in the hall at the end of a week that was already difficult.
What we are not
We should be plain about this, because it is the kind of thing a firm in this town could easily imply and should not. We hold no official status, no accreditation and no approved-supplier relationship with any employer, institution or establishment. We are an independent removals firm that has done a lot of these moves and understands the pattern. If your employer has its own appointed provider, use them.
We are also not a national brand with a local number, and not a lead broker. Your enquiry comes to us, and the person who reads it is the person who plans the job. We have no awards or press coverage to show you and we are not going to invent any.
Where we work
Northwood, Northwood Hills and Moor Park first, then the HA6 edges and out into Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The other end can be anywhere, and on this site it frequently is not in the country.
